Philippe Combres
Philippe Combres is a Curator and Publisher, born in Montpellier, France.
Philippe Combres began his career at Universal in the late 80’s, in charge of promoting artists like Vanessa Paradis, The Cure, Sting… Passionate about media, he joined in 1995 the team of Technikart magazine as a general manager. He produced his first exhibition in 2000, “Libres Ébats”, an open-air exhibition at Château de Lacroix Laval in Lyon, bringing together twenty international artists such as Fabrice Hyber, Pipilotti Rist or Paola Pivi. In 2001 he created his Brand content agency and Publishing house ICI a 800 m2 factory in the Marais where he created events with brands such as Fauchon, Moët & Chandon, Christofle, Air France, Diesel, Playstation, Prada, Armani. During 15 years Philippe Combres published the magzines Blast (Fashion, Art & Lifestyle), Extra Small (Kidswear) and Intersection (Mobility). Philippe Combres also founded ITEM Press and PR agency including the gallery White Shop. He created the La Plage Orange for France Telecom at Carlton for the Cannes Film Festival, with live concerts of Daft Punk, Air, Joey Starr for which project he won the Strategies prize for the “best event of the year”. He also won the Lion d’Argent in Cannes for his Rallye des Collections concept for the launch of the Nissan Micra, bringing together unique cars created for the occasion by Mr Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, and the Van Cleef & Arpels House.
Philippe Combres moved to St Barth in 2012 where he first co-founded Art Saint Barth. Philippe Combres also continues his passion for publishing, since 10 years with L’Officiel St Barth.
Jenny Mannerheim
Jenny Mannerheim is a Curator, Art Director, and Gallerist born in Stockholm, Sweden.
Jenny Mannerheim obtained her education in arts and graphic design in St Martin’s School of Design, London, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication design at Parsons School of Design, New York. After graduating in 2002 Mannerheim started working as an art director for high-end fashion magazines Numéro and Vogue hommes International. In 2006 she re-designed Beaux-Arts Magazine, which went on to become the leading arts magazine in France. Founder of Nuke Mannerheim gallery and the cultural association Art Saint Barth, Jenny has an ever-growing family of artists that she has exhibited and curated in solo shows: Cyprien Gaillard, Robert Montgomery, Marc Horowitz, Maripol, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Luka Sabbat, Kaws, Daniel Arsham, Krista Kim, Douglas White. She has worked as an artistic director for several advertising companies such as Publicis, Havas and TBWA to develop cultural contents with artists for brands such as Persol, Lancôme, Nissan, Tommy Hilfiger, Jeep, Fiat, Dolce & Gabbana, Aero. Her personal brand Each x Other was founded in 2012 and is part of Paris Fashion Week with a runway show twice a year and a distribution network of over 100 stores worldwide. Jenny Mannerheim also continues her passion for publishing as the Art Director of L’Officiel St Barth, since 10 years. She is also a teacher in Art, Fashion & Design at Marangoni Istituto.
Thomas Leonard
Thomas Leonard is a Creative Director and Brand Strategist born in Mission Viejo, California.
Thomas Leonard studied Game Art and Design at the Art Institute of California - Orange County, before pursuing a career in brand strategy and development for startups in Los Angeles. In 2009 Thomas was creative director for over 10 years at BOXeight Studios, an artist collective and photography studio in Downtown Los Angeles that went on the produce some of the most influential fashion shows and exhibitions in Los Angeles. During his time at BOXeight, Thomas used his skills in visual brand development to help emerging artists develop and refine their distinct visual language. While continuing to consult for several startups in Los Angeles and San Fransisco, Thomas' love for fashion and menswear led him to found the bespoke menswear brand Franc Milton based in Beverly Hills, California. During his time at Franc Milton he was dubbed one of Los Angeles' best dressed men by GQ Magazine. Thomas continues to offer brand strategy and consulting for multi-million dollar companies in the United States and abroad.
