Douglas White

London based British artist Douglas White’s work aims to transform the everyday and reveal the unexpected. White creates pieces from found objects, discarded and overlooked materials which are then violently transformed and evolved within his practice. Pieces such as truck tires and vandalized recycling bins become new surfaces to discover and erode in White’s intuitive art practice. Nature, the unexpected, and what lies beneath are recurring motifs in his pieces. White works across mediums of sculpture, installation, and digital art.
