Jean-Charles de Castelbajac
Jean-Charles de Castelbajac is a Moroccan born fashion designer based in France. His illustrious career has spanned over four decades and has permeated culture and set trends across the fashion industry. Some of his most notable designs have been worn by the likes of Madonna, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Drake. Between the 1970’s and 1990’s he founded the brand Iceberg and served as the artistic director for the fashion houses Max Mara and Courrèges. More recently he has collaborated with brands like Palace and stars like Pharrell Williams. Throughout his career, Castelbajac collaborated with artists such as Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The designer uses elements of pop art, surrealist touches, and a commitment to bold color throughout his large body of work. As of 2018, the designer has been serving as the artistic director for United Colors of Benetton.
