Jeppe Hein
Jeppe Hein’s work exists in a constant dialogue with the viewer. His installation pieces include reflective surfaces and water fixtures among other immersive elements, which help to create an environment where art and audience merge. The Danish artist is based in Berlin and Copenhagen, and his installation works have been featured in public spaces in London, Australia, and Italy among other destinations. Many of his works such as his mirror pieces and modified social benches intrinsically involve the viewer as a participant to complete the work. Hein’s art plays with humoristic elements and takes cues from 1970’s traditions of minimalistic art.
